COMMUNITY WELLBEING CENTRE

A thriving community needs more than education alone. It needs safe spaces, access to healthcare information, and support for those facing life’s greatest challenges.

The Lumule Foundation is raising funds to create a Community Wellbeing Centre, a dedicated space designed to support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of the entire community.

At the heart of the project is a simple belief: everyone deserves access to support, safety, and opportunity.

The centre will provide a range of vital services, including women’s health education, family planning guidance, access to sanitary products, sexual health support, and community outreach programmes. For many women and girls in the region, these resources are limited or unavailable, creating barriers to education, health, and economic opportunity.

The project will also create a safe and supportive environment for young men returning from the trauma of conflict. Many boys in northern Uganda were abducted during the war and continue to face significant challenges reintegrating into community life. The centre will provide a place to gather, access mentorship and counselling, participate in activities, and build positive futures.

Alongside the wellbeing centre, the project includes the creation of a secure community playground and recreation space. Enhanced security fencing and safe outdoor areas will provide children with a protected environment to learn, play, and socialise while helping safeguard the wider school grounds and teacher accommodation.

Together, these initiatives will create a central hub for healing, connection, education, and community development.

Your support will help us create a safer, healthier, and more hopeful future for generations to come.
